Fondue Alpenzu

The Fondue Alpenzu (melted cheese with cream and eggs), made from the original Fontina according to the unaltered recipes of Aosta Valley’s noblest and purest cuisine, is a guarantee of an excellent product witch matches the savour of “yesterday” with the quality that only regular checks during each working stage can provide.

The Fontina DOP from mountain pastures is a very particular cheese which is produced during the summer when the cows graze in the Alps. The scent and the flavour of mountain herbs and cows’ outdoor life give a particular and first-rate taste to the milk and therefore to the Fontina, too. Thanks to this cheese, Alpenzu created a high-quality fondue, that you will find to buy every year but only for a short period.

Fondue with truffles and Fondue with Müller Thurgau wine
The Fondue is combined with the truffle and the Müller Thurgau DOC, in order to offer a genuine, natural and also special product.
The coupling with the truffle, that’s to say with the king of Italian cuisine, is perfect, while the match with the white wine is a transalpine speciality that we wanted to develop according to the local tradition by using a dry, fruity and slightly aromatic wine.

Cream of four differfent
kinds of cheese

Alpenzu’s cream of four different kinds of cheese is prepared with Fontina DOP, Parmesan cheese, marbled Gorgonzola and table cheese.
All raw materials are carefully selected in order to get a pleasant cream that can be used warm on dumplings or pasta and rice dishes or cold in order to stuff sandwiches and to prepare appetizing canapés.
